All of the Six Foot Six Year Old strips were hand drawn on paper. The first step in this process was to make the panel boxes. For this I created templates out of heavy paper stock to both speed up the process of drawing these boxes and to ensure size consistency.
The single panel box template.
For some reason, I rarely wrote two panel strips. For this reason, the box template jumped from a single panel to three panels, skipping two all “two”-gether.
Four panels was about the limit for what would fit in terms of strip size.
